Kimball-Jenkins Estate & School of Art is a charitable trust that is dedicated to promoting the Fine Arts in Concord, NH. They offer art classes for all ages and monthly art shows with gallery openings with a focus on supporting local artists and the art community.
What they needed
When CharmLab began working with them, The Kimball-Jenkins Estate & School of Art was struggling to find new donors and art school students. They needed to promote the school while also increasing donations substantially. Operating with a skeleton staff, the school needed help organizing and implementing a marketing plan and budget.
What we did
Working with the Board of Directors and staff, CharmLab initiated new fundraising events while upgrading the marketing efforts of the school with new cost-effective promotional materials. We worked with the Staff to help them use social media the right way and created Facebook Business pages—one for the Art School and a Facebook Page promoting Events and Weddings on the Estate and introduced event-based contests on Facebook and Constant Contact. We also have worked to develop new awareness for the school using social and traditional media and cross promotion tie-ins with other Concord businesses and non-profits to build the School’s fan base.
The Result
The efforts to increase the fundraising for Kimball-Jenkins Estate have put them in a better financial situation and awareness of the school is growing. In 2012, we are planning a new Drupal website, events and contests to promote the School and raise the awareness of potential donors.
